Economy Shop 90th Anniversary

November 2023, CLASP honored the EconomyShop for its many years of support to CLASP and the Claremont Community. Since 1933, The Economy Shop has donated more than $1 million dollars to over 65 non-profit organizations in its 90 year history. CLASP itself has received $58,000 over the last 14 years! Awards were given by United States Representative, Judy Chu, who presented a Congressional Recognition Certificate to The Economy Shop. Other awards were presented by Claremont Mayor, Ed Reece from the Claremont City Council (see AWARDS page). 2024 was a good year in sales for the shop and $36,000.00 were donated to many Claremont and surrounding communities non-profit organizations.
